Workforce Network offers a variety of Career Resource Workshops for individuals. many of these workshops are specifically focused on helping dislocated workers cope with the stress of a layoff and to put together a plan of action for identifying new career opportunities, finding employment and/or receiving training. Employers' Association: The best way to build your understanding of key employee issues is often by listening to experts in the field, then sharing experiences, successes, mistakes and lessons learned with our peers from organizations around the state. EA's wide range of seminars and events provides you with plenty of opportunities for this kind of personal interaction and knowledge sharing. Our individual sessions, networking forums and roundtables cover topics ranging from human resources, health and safety to employment law, leadership development and customer service. Our speakers and trainers come with a wealth of experience, encourage questions and make them selves available to help even after the event.
